Hello, from the Music room

Music News from Ms. Bridget Finch. 

On Thursday March 2nd we had a visit from teachers and students from Mcleod College Music Academy. The ensemble is made up of students from years 8 to 11 and they played us a number of musical pieces on string, brass, woodwind and percussion instruments. Their head teacher Mr Griffith had all of the Violet Street kids (and some teachers) up and moving to the music.  

We were very fortunate to have the band play for us on their whirlwind tour of Bendigo and it was fantastic that our students were able to experience live music played by students not much older than themselves.
