What is the best day ever? 

For Christians the best has to be Easter; when the Bible records Jesus sacrifice for the sins of the world on Good Friday, and then his rising from death on Easter Sunday. For me its that day of resurrection that I think is the best day ever; after such a horrible trial, torture, execution and death, Jesus rising from the dead and being seen by hundreds of people - that really is astounding. 

It's no wonder our calendars are set from this event; 2023 A.D (Anno Domini, Latin for “in the year of the Lord”). 500 years earlier the writer of Psalm 118.24 wrote about this "best day ever"; “This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” 

In chapel I shared about this joy and then taught the students a meditation song titled "The Day" I wrote using those words - and wow did the students sing it well!
