Foundation

Foundation N had a fun maths lesson and made 3D shapes from play dough. They learnt about spheres, cones and cubes. 

Year 1/2

Reading - The students have looked at text to self-connection in their readers.

Writing - The 1/2s have explored different characters traits and created a main character for their narrative. 

Vocabulary - The students have expanded their vocabulary this week adding perked, mementos, loft and perch to their list. They drew pictures to show the meaning of each word.

Maths - The 1/2s are learning about place value and area.

Sport - The students enjoyed developing their soccer skills.

Year 3/4

Students of 3/4A are learning about mindfulness this week. They enjoyed recording what they could see, feel ands thought and most reported feeling relaxed during and after the exercise. 

Year 5/6

The Year 5/6 students have enjoyed reading the narratives they wrote to other students.

Congratulations to Qisha, who has completed her reading goal. All our students work hard to achieve their goals and it is wonderful to see the pride shown in their work!
