Affirmation with Mrs Ward

If you know me based on who I was a year ago, you don't know me at all.  My growth game is strong.  Allow me to reintroduce myself.  Aagam Shah

Wellbeing Club

This week saw the launch of the "Wellbeing" lunchtime club in the BER. The Year 6 leaders organised a variety of activities including Lego, mindfulness colouring, and some "Just Dance" to get the happy vibes going. Thank you to Sydney, Mikaela and Nick for setting and packing up the equipment and giving students the opportunity to engage in some lunchtime fun.

TEE-BALL

We are very proud of our two tee ball teams.  Both teams won two games on Friday at Lightning Premiership.  It has been wonderful to see an improvement in skill development and understanding of the game throughout the term.  Well done for showing our school values at sporting events.

A big thank you to Rebecca Bradley for helping to supervise our teams and Juanita Sprott for driving our equipment to Le Page.

We look forward to using our skills and knowledge of the game to play softball in Term 2.

VOLLEYBALL

CONGRATULATIONS to the boys and girls volleyball teams who played some very competitive matches today.  The girls team competed in Pool B where they WON all 5 of their matches.  It was great to see the improvement in skills and confidence throughout the season.

The boys competed in Pool A and had three very close games.  It was a three way tie for first place, which came down to number of sets won.  A huge well done to the boys team who secured first place with five sets won, and will now progress through to division in term 4.

Most importantly, all students demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and positivity throughout the day. C.E.P.S. can be very proud of these students.

A huge well done to the boys team who will now progress through to division in term 4.  A big thank you to Jon Morgan for assisting with the boys team all season.

Gardening Club

Gardening Club is up and running every second Friday. We are getting a great turn out of students from Foundation through to Year 6. So far, we have weeded the vegetable patch in preparation for planting new seeds next term.

Thank you to Mr Jon for purchasing new gardening gloves for us.
