Principal’s Message

Bush Fire Crisis

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has been impacted by the bush fires both in our school community and in the wider community.  Our sincere thanks go to the rural fire service for their tireless efforts in what must be a difficult, exhausting, emotional job.  Some of our families have experienced loss of property and livestock and our hearts go out to them.   Mrs Lockwood and Mrs Bearman have organised a water drive for schools which have been affected including diocesan schools in Tenterfield, Glen Innes, Walcha and Armidale.  If you wish to donate bottles of water, please bring them in to the school office by Friday 29 November 2019. The children came dressed in Crazy Hair last Friday to raise money for Catholic Missions.  The generosity of the parent community is greatly appreciated and brings to life our mission - St Joseph's is faith-filled where learning and community matter.

May God bless you,
