Camp

Excitement is building in Year 4 as Phillip Island Camp fast approaches. In preparation for camp, students have been researching Phillip Island and the activities they will be taking part in. The students have lots of questions regarding what they need to bring to camp etc., this information will be sent home in the coming days.

Remembrance Day

Monday was Remembrance Day. Year 4 students spent the day taking part in activities that looked at the significance of the day as well as studied ‘In Flanders Field’ by looking at the emotive language and text structure. Students were given the opportunity to place a poppy on the schools' fence as a sign of remembrance during the day.

Cricket

Tomorrow, selected Year 4 students will be travelling to Dixon Field in Gisborne to take part in the Big Blast Cricket Carnival. The students have been training hard and have all made improvements in their batting, bowling and fielding.
