COMPASS PASSWORD EXPIRING SOON…..

Some families may have recently received an email from the Security Team at Compass, advising their Compass password is due to expire soon. If the sender email is from compass@compass.email then this is a legitimate email relating to a recently implemented security feature, ensuring parent passwords are changed annually.

Please follow the instructions provided for updating your password. If you are experiencing any issues with changing your password or logging into Compass, please contact the school office.

COMPASS – is your mobile & email correct?

The two most important pieces of information within Compass are the mobile numbers and email addresses for parents/guardians. As all school activities, notices, sick bay visits, etc, are advised through Compass, it is imperative the correct contact details are listed. Please check this information and update details where necessary or call us at the office and we can assist.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION ITEMS INFORMATION - 2020

Woodend PS Booklists are now ‘live’ on the Officemax/WINC website -  https://www.officemaxschools.com.au/

 

 

Paper copies of booklists for all year levels were distributed on Wednesday 6th November 2019. Each student who will be at Woodend Primary School in 2020, was issued with a paper copy of their 2020 year level booklist. In addition, lists were distributed to students/families via Compass on Wednesday 6th November and are stored for future reference in Compass under ‘School Documentation’.

BOOKPACK REQUISITES YEAR Foundation – 2:

  • Students do not receive an individual bookpack- requisites are purchased in bulk from Officemax/WINC and delivered directly to classrooms. However payment for essential books is compulsory and expected. Payment options are:
  1. via https://www.officemaxschools.com.au/  until 31st January 2020
  2. via QKR (free payment app) from November 2019

BOOKPACK REQUISITES YEAR 3 – 6:

  • Families are not compelled to purchase their requisites through the school, however we offer this service to ensure goods brought to school are of appropriate quality and type.
  • ORDER ONLINE at https://www.officemaxschools.com.au/

Goods will be delivered to the student’s home address NOT to the school.

  • order BEFORE 2nd DEC = FREE DELIVERY & guaranteed delivery before 31.12.19
  • order AFTER 2nd DEC = $12.95 per family and delivery before the start of school

CARLSRUHE ANNEXE BUS – (Yr 4 only)

  • The cost of transport to and from our Carlsruhe Annexe, 4 days a week, will be $100 per child. Payment is compulsory and expected.

NETBOOK LEASE - (Yr 4, 5 & 6 only)

  • Woodend Primary School is committed to providing learning environments that will engage our students and provide independence and flexibility in their learning. Our netbook program aims to expand the learning environment beyond the walls of the classroom. The $160 fee covers the cost of lease, maintenance & technical support for the year.

Further information covering the netbook distribution process, will be provided early in 2020.

CARLSRUHE BUS & NETBOOK LEASE
