It’ been a busy week in the Woodend Community Children’s Garden:

• Finally, not one but two excavators appeared in the garden to move the gravel.

• One kookaburra and twenty-five children turned up to lunchtime garden club.

• MU2 and MU3 had classes in the garden to plant pumpkin, zucchini and bean seeds in recycled cardboard rolls, and witnessed the plant life cycle of tasty parsley, lettuce, rocket and kale growing in the garden.

• Nine Environment Leaders and friends helped teach the MU classes and designed some brick and gravel walkways.
