Cake & Preserve Stall

As part of the Carlsruhe Country Fair, we will be holding a Cake and Preserve Stall to help raise funds for our school. We are asking families to consider contributing donations of baked goods/homemade preserves/eggs etc to be sold at the Fair. In an effort to reduce waste, we have decided not to send home boxes, bags and labels with your children. If possible, could you kindly bring your delicious baked goodies on a recyclable paper plate/container. For health reasons it will need to be covered, so either a freezer bag or glad wrap is best. Please be sure to list all ingredients either on a label (not stuck on) or a slip of paper inside the bag. This is to avoid any allergy issues for people who purchase your goods.

Egg stall

Do you have a surplus of eggs from your back yard chickens? If you have too many eggs to know what to do with, we have a solution! We are holding an egg stall at the fair. We are requesting as many donations of eggs as possible pretty please!!

Collection times will be the same as the cake stall and extra empty cartons are available for you to collect from the office if you need some more.

You can drop off your eggs to the school staffroom on Friday 29th Nov between:

8.45am – 10.00am OR 2.00pm – 4.00pm. Or you can bring them to the Carlsruhe Campus early on Saturday morning from 8.30am.

Fashion on the Paddock

On Saturday at 12.15pm, take to the Carlsruhe paddock for a fashion parade filled with farm-fashion finest. Children of all ages are invited to dress as farmers, sheep-hands, shearers and cowboys and stomp around the paddock in what will become a highlight on the fashion runway circuit. All chooks and cow onesies are welcome (insert a celebratory cock a doodle doo!).

Marquees and trestle tables

Do you have any trestle tables or 3x3m marquees covered in dust at the back of your shed (or clean ones!)? We need 50 marquees and 50 trestle tables. Please email Anita Mason if you have any available – anitajmason@gmail.com.au

Volunteers needed

If you’re unable to volunteer your time on the day of the fair, please remember that there is still time to make a cash donation instead if that is easier for you. This can be done via QKR.
