Senior School

 From the Prefects

The year 12’s have been laser focused studying for all the SACs that a year 12 student expects (a lot!), and as breather, we had special guest Sonya Karras come to talk to the whole senior school about safe partying and alcohol. She was not only informative but was also very funny, her relatable stories and heartbreaking experiences really helped us reflect on our situation and overall made us think twice on certain decisions that our age group tend to make in relation to alcohol and driving.

Moreover, last Friday Athletics Day took place and it was a great success. There was a great turn out from the year 12’s who were dressed up in various costumes, from manly cheerleaders to blue man suits and everything in between everyone looked amazing! We also had the first ever novelty event of Quidditch, which was very successful mainly because the year 12’s team was one of the victors.

The year 11's have had a very busy month, mainly due to the realisation that exams are right around the corner. However, we are all preparing very hard and are sure that they will not be of any issue. The Athletics Carnival was on Friday went off without a hitch!! It was a great fun filled day and it was spectacular to see so many people getting into the house spirit, obviously Freeman was the best.
