Year 2 students have been learning about all things 'Under the Sea'. 

Students spent time exploring The Deep Sea website and learnt about the different zones of the sea. They also had a chance to write a description about a made-up underwater city, getting inspiration from the City of Atlantis. To finish up the unit, the students were treated to an incursion with Earl from Wildlife Xposure where they learnt about different sea creatures, and even had a chance to touch and hold some! 

We are now learning about the Wonders of the World! Students have spent time researching and learning about the Wonders and practicing summarising new information. They have had a blast coming up with their own made-up 8th wonder of the world and making posters about them. 

Can't wait to explore and learn about the Human Body in Term 3!
