Spotlight on Performing Arts

Junior School Music Night

On Friday, 9 June the Music Department welcomed friends and family to the Junior School Music Night. For many students, this was their first time performing on stage for their friends and family. The audience was treated to a wide range of performances, including both instrumental and choral pieces.

Congratulations to all our young musicians involved, whose performances demonstrated the talent and hard work they have put into rehearsals this year. A special thank you goes to the Performing Arts Staff, FOPA and the amazing parents for all their support and commitment to the Performing Arts. We look forward to welcoming parents to the Year 4 String Concerts next week.

Our students are excited to showcase the music they have been learning this Semester.

Chamber Music Night

The Trinity College Performing Arts would like to welcome friends and family to attend the upcoming Chamber Music Night on Wednesday, 21 June at 7.00pm in Braham Auditorium.

This performance opportunity is designed for students in our small ensembles to showcase their pieces before the Performing Arts Festival in Term 3. We look forward to seeing you there to enjoy a night of music!

Next Meeting

All parents are invited to come along and express their interest in supporting the music, dance, and drama activities of the college this year. We are always keen to welcome new parents on board to help behind the scenes of the Performing Arts program.

The next FOPA meeting is occurring Wednesday, 19 July commencing at 7.00pm in the Staff Lounge, 3rd Floor of the Cultural Centre. We look forward to seeing you there!

FOPA POSITION AVAILBLE

We ask that all candidates attend a FOPA meeting to express their interest in the position.

Triathlon Co-Ordinator

The primary duty of this role is to arrange volunteers to assist with triathlon events and other one-off events, such as the RSPCA Million Paws Walk. This role will suit a candidate with excellent communication skills, who is proactive, and who has a can-do attitude. They will need to communicate with the event organisers (phone/email) to determine the number of volunteers required for each event and, after that, actively acquire volunteers by preparing email communications to parents/caregivers.

Familiarity with using Facebook and applications such as Signup Genius as tools to assist with this role would be beneficial but optional. On the day of the event, the candidate will be required to undertake a roll call to confirm the number of volunteers who have attended and then liaise with the event-coordinator after the event to ensure that the donation has been paid to the college.

A complete handover will be given to the incoming candidate from the exiting candidate.
