ECU School of Engineering is offering $20,000 scholarships to high performing Year 12 students who wish to study Engineering in 2024.

Nominations are now open. We are pleased to invite all secondary schools to nominate any high performing students who are interested in studying Engineering for these scholarships. Alternatively, interested students can also self-nominate.

Step Aboard HMAS Sydney to Learn About the Navy

Defence Force Recruiting would like to give TC students the chance to tour a Navy ship as it docks at Fremantle.

A ship visit is a great opportunity to learn more about the trade, communications, IT and intelligence or leadership roles available in the Navy. Students will be hosted by current Navy personnel to receive expert insights and gain a first-hand account of their lives both on base and on board.

By attending this ship tour, students will learn more about the training and ongoing opportunities for growth and development and see if a career in the Navy is for them. Even if they aren’t thinking about a career in Defence or are unsure of their next steps, this ship tour may provide an exciting future they may not have considered.

Students hear first-hand from Navy personnel about their careers in the Australian Defence Force and explore different areas of the ship, including:

Bridge
Weapons System
Engine Room
Life Saving Equipment
Officer and Crew accommodation
Mess
Gym
Hangar Facilities
Medical Facilities
