French Day cooking & West African Drumming 

A French Day on Wednesday last week provided the chance to celebrate the French language in West Africa - where more people speak French than anywhere else in the world. We started off with a thrilling incursion from Melbourne Djembe, a West African drumming group, who got everyone drumming and dancing. A couple of student reviews were: "ten million out of ten" and "the best thing of my life ever". There were also some art activities inspired by a Malian artist and cooking of froufrous (doughnuts)!
