Hair with Heart
One of our Year 9 students has made a unique contribution to the community by donating her hair to raise awareness about childhood cancer. Well done, Ritkriti!
I'm really proud that I donated a whole meter of my hair to help children with cancer. I did it for a few reasons. First, I wanted to bring some hope and happiness to these kids who are going through a tough time. Second, I wanted to raise awareness about childhood cancer and why supporting these kids is important. Plus, I had a lot of hair, so giving some of it away didn't really affect me. It made me feel good to know that my hair could be turned into a wig and give a child more confidence. It showed me that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. I'm happy that I could do something positive to help others. Ritkriti Melam Year 9
