Careers

Meet the Careers Team

I am Steph Martin and I would like to introduce myself as the Careers and Pathways Coordinator. I am very excited to be leading this program and look forward to supporting our students with their career development and pathway planning. 2021 is shaping up to be an exciting year with our Year 9s completing their Morrisby Profile and our Year 10s participating in work experience.  All students in Years 7-10 will be creating and reviewing their Career Action Plan throughout the year. I will be available to support all students with career counselling and pathway planning. Students and parents can contact me via email Stephanie.Martin@education.vic.gov.au or phone (03) 8569 9200. I look forward to working with staff and students to implement a modern and evidence-based approach to careers and pathways at Beaumaris Secondary College.

I am Jack Crameri and I would like to introduce myself as the main staff support to the Careers and Pathways Coordinator, Steph Martin. Throughout this year I will be supporting Ms. Martin in a number of programs, as well as completing a Careers Councilor Grad Cert in order to further build the Careers department as we move towards full capacity. I’m also the Teacher Councilor within the School and work closely with the well-being team and Heads of Houses to ensure all students have access to the best support network possible. Students and parents can contact me via email Jack.crameri@education.vic.gov.au or phone (03) 8569 9200. I look forward to working with staff and students to implement a modern and evidence-based approach to careers and pathways, as well as continuing to drive the focus on student well-being at Beaumaris Secondary College.

Work Experience – Notice to Parents and/or Guardians

We are very excited to be developing and running a Work Experience Program for our Year 10 students. This program will run from June 21st to the 25th, 2021, with the aim of providing students with an excellent opportunity to explore future career options, develop relationships with employers and gain real world skills in a work environment.

At Beaumaris Secondary College we value the importance of community as demonstrated in our school values of Belong, Believe, Become and as such we would like to build strong relationships with organisations in our school community.

We are seeking expressions of interest from any parents and/or guardians who may be interested in adding their organisation to our register of work placements for students in the Work Experience Program.

To confirm your organisation’s interest in participating in this program, or if you would like any further information, please contact Stephanie Martin via email Stephanie.Martin@education.vic.gov.au or phone (03) 8569 9200.
