Duval HS Time Capsules

In 1994, seven time capsules were buried by Duval High School students and staff. A few weeks ago we eagerly crowded around to retrieve the capsules and ever since have been slowly poring through the contents. 

The first cylinders we opened turned out to be dedicated to ‘future teachers’. Treasures included actual detention notices, absentee reports, curriculum plan, a newspaper article recognising 25 years since the moon landing, a DHS glass, and a bottle of port! 

Year 10 Assembly

The Duval Campus auditorium hosted one of its last functions on Wednesday, 9 December, with the Year 10 End-of-Year Assembly. 

The academic, sporting, and citizenship achievements of Year 10 students were recognised by staff and classmates attending the assembly. Unfortunately, Covid restrictions prevented us from inviting the public to share in the celebration.
