Citizenship Award

Each Year St Bridget’s gives a Citizenship Award.  A definition of a ‘Good Citizen’ is someone who respects others and their property.

They are helpful and considerate, willing to put others first.

They listen to the views of others and think about what they have to say.

They help people who are not in a position to help themselves.

They respect the environment and do not damage it in any way.

They work hard.

They are well mannered and pleasant.

They are always willing to learn

The Citizenship Award for 2020 was received by Gerardine in Year 6.

Gerardine is a supportive, caring and compassionate student who has constantly shown kindness to everyone she comes in contact with. She is always wearing a smile and emits positivity every day. Gerardine shows exemplary qualities of a leader such as resilience, dependability and work ethic. She has continued to impress the staff and students with her positivity and bubbly personality which is able to lift the spirits of her peers and everyone around her. She is a constant source of laughter and I have been very proud to call her one of my students. She is a true leader and role model to the younger students. Every day, she demonstrates the Catholic values of our school by showing respect to others.
