ITALIAN DAY

On Wednesday 9th December, we celebrated Italian Day. The children participated in various activities throughout the day. The activities included playing a card game called Scopa, they played Bocce (a type of lawn bowls), they cooked Pizzelle (a traditional sweet from the Abruzzo region) and the all-time favourite ‘Tombola’ which is bingo.

There was lots of food which included crostoli, various types of panettone (traditional Italian Christmas cake), pizza, and gelati.

We really missed our parent helpers and look forward to when we can welcome you back to celebrate Italian Day with us.

Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
