Glenelg District Golf

The Baimbridge College golf team today trekked to Heywood for the annual district golf day. This day was rescheduled after being postponed in Term 3 due to rain causing the course to be unplayable.

Some of the team were unavailable for this event but a good mix of youth and experience set out to challenge the Heywood links under the guidance of golf guru Mr Hill.

Team Captain Cameron OBrien assured us that the team was performing well and plenty of highlights were had throughout the day with the team finishing in second place.

Thanks to those students who attended.

Best Wishes

Good luck to Emily Pitts who will be competing in the 15yo girls hurdles and James Cleaver who will be participating in the 100m, 200m and 400m State Athletics Finals on Monday 22nd at Lakeside Stadium in Melbourne.  With an impressive 200m time only .27 seconds off the longstanding record from 1989 by Rohan Robinson in Rosebud, we are excited to see what James achieves and wish both students the best for their respective events.
