Foundation students certainly have been very busy over the past two weeks. New Letterland characters, Tricky Y, syllables, numbers, Blooms Buttons for comprehension, beginning-middle-end reading responses, writing sentences and learning about place value are just some of the learning activities that the students have been engaging with. We are also enjoying seeing all their colourful letter craft!

Our Inquiry topic ‘Farms’ is certainly producing some wonderful responses and questions by the students, especially when we were learning about cows and milking! Week 4 sees us investigating sheep and then we focus on chickens in Week 5. Stay tuned!

Thank you again for all the support you provide at home, many of you balancing Home Schooling with work and family life! We are grateful and the learning taking place is amazing!
