What to do these school holidays
Holidays in winter can be a challenge, especially when there are many travel restrictions still in place. When my daughter was little we would each make a list of the things we wanted to do in the holidays. Lisa's list would include going to the beach, playing with friends, having a picnic, eating ice-cream and of course my list included some of these fun things too. My list also included things like weeding the garden, cleaning out cupboards, cleaning the bathroom etc. We would then take turns to choose things off the list to make a plan. This meant we had fun and we also got some jobs done. It was a light-hearted and fun way to plan out our time together.
