Mother's Day

While we all could not be together at school last Friday, the significance of Mother’s Day was not lost on the community. Rather than a liturgical celebration to honour the sacrifice our Mothers make each day for us, our Year 12 Student Leaders put together a beautiful reflection and prayer to mark the occasion. The short clip allowed us as a community to honour and reflect upon not only our mothers, but all the influential women in our lives who have made us the people that we are today.

 

A special thanks to Harrison Wallace, Daniel Fileman and Lachlan Mathie for leading the reflection. We also thank the boys from various year groups who collaborated to create their own reflections to add to the final product. Also we must mention the efforts of Mrs Tracy Bradley for the editing work to make the clip for us all to enjoy.
