Art Room Update.....

Dear Rolling Hills Artists,

It was wonderful to have our Prep-2 students back in the art room. There were many smiles and joyful stories shared about our time at home. We all agreed that we missed school and mostly our friends.

The Prep students jumped straight into some rainbow art and we hope our rainbows bring a smile to everyone who walks into the art room.

The Grade 1/2 students have been busy drawing Chicken Divas from our national simultaneous story, Whitney and Britney Chicken Divas by Lucinda Gifford. These oil pastel drawings are sure to bring some joy to your day, as they are covered in bling and we have singers, guitar players and even DJ chickens.

Thank you to everyone who has already brought in an art smock. Please do not stress, it can be an old shirt or an old cooking apron. It just needs to project your uniform and have your name on it. A few parents have mentioned that Office Works has kids art smocks if you'd prefer to buy one. We will continue bringing our own smocks to school from now on, so it is not a wasted purchase.
