Did you know?

In 1969 Mary Vella, who was a student at Marian College from 1969-1972 wore the hat pictured on her first day of school in that year.  Mary Vella kindly donated the hat in 2017-complete with its raincoat, at the time of the 60th Anniversary Celebrations and it has been a very welcome addition to our Archive Collection.

The group photograph showing the Year 12 students in their hats was taken in 1969 on the last day of school.  This photograph was kindly donated by Marina Demarchi-second right-front, recipient in 1969 of the James Doyle Shield for outstanding excellence.
