Best wishes Claire...

It is Claire's final day on Thursday this week (tomorrow!) before she leaves on her maternity leave! As much as we will miss Claire, we cannot wait to hear the news of her beautiful new arrival. All the best to you and your family Claire and thank you for being such a wonderful teacher for D5 this year!

We are pleased to announce that Ms Pat Withell (Ms W) will be replacing Claire for the remainder of the year in D5. Ms W has been a familiar face around the Foundation rooms this year and we are very excited for her to be teaching the students in D5. Welcome to the Foundation team Ms W!

Book Nook

One of our new spaces that we are currently enjoying exploring is the 'Book Nook'. This is our shared Foundation classroom library space where we are able to enjoy some independent, partner or shared reading. We are also loving the really comfy cushions that we are able to sit on!

Reminder - 100 Days of Learning

A reminder that we are celebrating our 100 days of learning at school this Friday (6th August!). The dress up theme is What I would look like if I was 100 years old! 

We cannot wait to celebrate this special milestone on Friday!

Reminders

Just a friendly reminder to please remember to pack your child's reader bag each morning. We are finding that putting take home books in school bags are being left at home, or lost. All notes are also being sent home in these bags. If you can't find your child's reader bag, you can purchase one at the school uniform shop. In the meantime, another small bag will be sufficient.

Also if you could please send some headphones to school to support your child when they use the iPads, that would be wonderful.
