From The Principal

Dear Parents,
I would like to thank you all for your ongoing support during lockdown and remote learning. We will continue to navigate the current situation in a positive manner and we look forward to students returning to classrooms.
I am very proud of our College staff and the way in which they have engaged students, building stronger, positive, respectful relationships, while delivering the best possible learning opportunities for our students.
Our students have engaged positively in their learning and we are extremely proud of their resilience and focus to maintain their academic progress. Additional support will be implemented across the remainder of the year to support student and the academic progress.

The VCAA has announced that the GAT will be postponed and rescheduled to Thursday August 12. All students currently undertaking a Unit 4 subject are required to sit the GAT. Once we have received guidance from the Department of Education & Training regarding COVID – 19 protocols these will be communicated to students.
Students can expect to receive further details regarding requirements for the GAT directly from the Senior School Team.

Parent Opinion Survey
Each year parents are invited to participate in the Parents Opinion Survey. The survey is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, student engagement and experiences of remote and flexible learning. Our school will use the survey results to help inform and direct future school planning and improvement strategies. Approximately 30 per cent of parents will be invited to participate in this year’s survey. All responses to the survey are anonymous. This year, the Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Opinion Survey will be conducted during August. The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time , during the time in which the survey is open. The online survey will be available in a range of languages other than English. If you receive an invitation to participate in the Parent Opinion Survey, can I please ask that you take the time to complete the survey, your feedback is extremely important. The more parents that complete the survey the more accurate the data. Finally, I want to thank our parents for the support you have provided our teachers during these challenging times. Take care.
