Sacraments
Congratulations to the Year 3's who made the Sacrament of Reconciliation last week.
The Sacrament of First Eucharist was celebrated two weeks ago by a group of children from Year 4 and 5. The remaining children in Year 4 and 5 will be making their First Eucharist this weekend.
On Tuesday 30th November, Year 6 children will be making their Confirmation.
Congratulations to all these children. These Sacraments have been delayed so we are so pleased that they have been able to celebrate these special Sacraments with their families.
Advent
Sunday, 28 November, marks the beginning of Advent. Advent Advent is the period leading up to Christmas. The word 'advent' means 'coming'. It is a time of preparation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus. We use the four Sundays and weeks of Advent to prepare and remember the real meaning of Christmas. Children will be participating in activities where they will learn about the meaning of Advent and things they can do to prepare for Christmas.
