Term 4 fun!

Kaboom Sports Day!

The day of Kaboom Sports l was so excited!! I looked around there was lots of cool equipment. It was so stunning I couldn’t resist. It was so much fun and it was way better than doing school work! - Harry

Kaboom Sports is a really good company. Their staff and are really nice, their equipment they set up for us was really fun and cool. Like the mini golf, soccer, spin wheel and the sack race. My favourite part of the day was the sausage sizzle they had sausage and vegan patty’s my favourite was the sausage and they also gave us drinks. - Ethan

Skittle Science experiment

My year 4 skittle experiment was amazing we started off putting different types of sugar in the water and watch it dissolve. We put caster sugar, normal sugar and cube sugar. We watched them dissolve and the quickest was caster then normal then cube sugar that was soo much fun. The second experiment was super fun we put skittles all over the outside of the plate then we poured water in the middle. It looked so cool. The third experiment was that we put three skittles and 3 cups of water and the s of the skittle came off. - Millie

The 1st experiment was with sugar to see which one would melt the fastest in water. Surprisingly, it was the caster sugar with a record of 15 seconds! The sugar cube melted in 1 minute and 23 seconds. The normal sugar was 30 seconds. It was really fun! My 2nd experiment was about the skittles experiment. I had tried to separate all colours and made a rainbow. Once we added the water in the middle it made an amazing mixture when the colours mixed. It was so BEAUTIFUL! The 3rd experiment was about what the ‘S’ in skittles is made of. Me and my group guessed melted sugar that had frozen on the skittle shaped like an ‘S’. The real answer was edible paper. Everyone was SHOCKED! - Neha
