The best things this term!

Kaboom sports day!

A few weeks ago it was our whole school kaboom day. Every class in the primary campus were in countries like Australia, Portugal, Canada, China and many more. There were 20 teams. To get points we had to behave good and do good things. The team at the end of the day that had the most points will win. There were many activities such as mini golf, throwing obstacles and more. The host names were Chillily and Will. There also was a leader board to keep track of every teams points. At the start all of the teams had to choose a leader. My teams leaders were Kara, Shruthi and me, Tri-thanh. We all had a big warm up at the start. The teachers to dance and all of the kids had to copy. They also gave out lots of points there. After the big warm up we all had to go to our first activity. After every few minutes we went to a new activity. There we’re so many activity’s. We played until snack then we just went out and played for the next 30 mins. When snack was over we went back to our resent activity and continued doing sport. After a while, they gave a few points to teams that did the right thing and sang with the song they played when an activity finished. All of the activity were done now it was time to announce the winners drum roll to……….NORWAY 🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴!!!!!!!!!!!!! Most teams had 3 points Norway got 4 but some got 2. It was the end of the sports day. Norway helped clean up and everyone else went inside to rest. It was challenging hot but at least we had a good day and enjoyed what we had. I enjoyed a lot but I was really hot but it was amazing. - Tri Thanh

Elves

In year three, we have four elves they are Bob, Jeff, Jingle and Papa Bear. 3C and 3B’s students got candy canes on Tuesday. Jeff from 3A is zip lining with a candy cane, Bob from 3C is napping and Papa Bear and Jingle from 3B sprayed silly string on the whiteboard and the wall. In the past week Jeff was hanging on the fan, singing with a rainbow costume, making snow angels in sprinkles and was peeking in a window. In 3C Bob sat on a bottle and a Mr Stink book, zip lining with a mask and read Where’s Wally. In 3B Papa bear and Jingle have made Nicole wear a elf and a reindeer hat the whole day then, it gave Nicole a Christmas tree, the next day, the elf gave her ornaments and the next day it gave her lights. Jingle usually hides in Santa’s mailbox. All of year three’s elves are doing silly, mischievous things. - Duncan

Grade 3 Camp Day

I was getting into class for camp day the original camp we were going to do was cancelled by coronavirus so when I got into class we had to go to Nicole’s room to sort out which group we were going to be in. Turns out I was a dolphin and my friends were in different groups like sharks and orcas. First up was Jodie she arranged a scavenger hunt for us, sadly I couldn’t do the scavenger hunt because I had to do my unfinished artwork, but then when I came back they were playing softball. Then when the rest of the class came back we watched the rest of Luca. When we came back from snack I was with another teacher Nicole we were going to do softball, but there was a twist there were teams I was in the red team when the game started I was trying to get a tail from the opposing team but IN AN INSTANT,I was CAUGHT and caught means out so I had to spectate the people playing. Next round I was INSTANTLY CAUGHT AGAIN, so I had to watch them play but Amrit and Nicole were against each other but THEN AMRIT A STUDENT STOLE NICOLES TAIL! But then after that we decided to play a game of octopus I was the octopus on the last round but sadly I lost again. But moving on after lunch I was with Sally doing some stem we were in groups and my group was Samira, me and Lual we were going to do an experiment were we drop an egg to see if it would crack so we were building an experiment was not working so then we just had to do it and guess what? WE ACTUALLY MADE IT!!!I was actually VERY surprised, I was disappointed then it actually made it! But then after that we watched a movie I forgot what it was called but it was about toys that needed someone worthy to be the shop keeper, but during the movie we got hot chips, chocolate, and popcorn and then after that we packed up and went home. It was very fun to do all that but I wish I could be at the real camp. - Hala

Fun Activities

During this week, we have been doing some fun things based on Christmas. I really enjoyed making 3D shapes out of paper formed as Christmas things. Our teachers are full of surprises and make us do fun things. Usually we do fun things to make us smile.  - Taylah G
