Year 10 Food Studies

It was great being back in the classroom during term 4 as we had the opportunity to cook lots of different great dishes. During our theory sessions, we learnt about the functions of food, and we were able to put our new knowledge into practice. We focused on perfecting our chopping skills for not only safety but also presentation. We had lots of options when cooking such as deciding on the types of sauces we wanted to serve with our dishes. We ended the year with making some gingerbread biscuits and decorated them with lots of different treats. Overall, it was a great and fun term to finish off our Year 10 Food Studies journey.
