It's In The Bag

Girton Community action group is supporting “it’s in the bag” and running a donation drive to help those in need. 

#ItsInTheBag is Share the Dignity's annual event encouraging everyday Australians to put together bags filled with essential items, to donate to someone in need for Christmas. 

From week 5, each house will be asked to donate specific items to GCAG, which will be collected from the boxes in each house tutor room:

Aherne and Millward: toiletries eg: soaps, shampoo, hair products, moisturiser, skin care, toothbrushes, deodorant and sanitary items 

Frew and Riley: baby items and basic clothes eg: hats, socks undies, nappies 

Jenkin and Jones: luxury items eg: make-up, cards, books, hair ties, tea bags, candles, perfume

Donations of bags, including new and second hand, for any age (babies, children, teenagers and adults) are also needed to package the items. 

This fundraiser is running until the end of November, so donations are needed as soon as possible.
