Remembrance Day

Senior School and Junior School honoured Remembrance Day on the eleventh day of November at the eleventh hour.

Junior School held a very moving 30 minute service under the Peppercorn Tree that was livestreamed to parents.  Olivia White played a heartfelt rendition of The Last Post.  SRC students spoke about Remembrance Day, the significance of the poppies and the soldiers who had fallen to protect our nation and Junior School Captains, Hamish Worme and Ruby Flanagan raised the flags.

At Senior School, Henry Livingstone played a very moving The Last Post on the trumpet from the top of the Performing Arts Building.  It was a sombre moment that echoed through the school yard at 11am.  It was a powerful moment when students and teachers alike came to a standstill across the school and solemnly reflected on our fallen heroes during a minutes' silence.
