Jenkin of the Year 2021:

Angelica Jack

This award is to recognize a member of the Jenkin Community in their contribution to the House. This person should demonstrate leadership, compassion, humility and above all, integrity.

2021 Jenkin of the Year is Angelica Jack

Angelica is someone who is described as cheerful, positive, and effervescent. Orange through and through and happy to fly the Jenkin Banner. Angelica truly represents the mantra of Jenkin in being ‘Connected.’

She is someone who will reply, ‘Yep, I can do that, no worries,’ and does the job with no expectation of fanfare. She will always be there to step up when required with their positive no-nonsense attitude. Regardless of the situation, she will always put on a brave face, even when disappointed or struggling. AND will put their own emotions aside to be there for others.

Angelica is a compassionate and loyal friend, a person who leads by example. She was an integral member of the Leadership Team in 2020 and was outstanding in keeping everyone organized and enthusiastic. A netballer extraordinaire who represented the School in countless Interschool and State events. A ‘lifer’ of the School.

A young person Jenkin is extremely proud of, and she is wished all the best for the future.
