Parkdale student wins top honours

Congratulations to Erika Seddon who has been recognised with a Premier’s VCE Award for her outstanding academic results in 2020. Erika received a perfect score of 50 in Japanese Second Language in 2020.

Erika was awarded a Study Award for excellence in Japanese Second Language at the annual Premier’s VCE Awards. The annual Premier’s VCE Awards recognise the top-performing students in the state, who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE). This year, 297 students were recognised with awards for their exceptional dedication, hard work and outstanding results during the 2020 VCE. 

The entire Parkdale community is proud of Erika and would like to congratulate her on being the recipient of such a prestigious award. 

Erika is currently studying for a Commerce/Science degree at Monash University. We wish her all the best in her future endeavours.

Congratulation to Kassidy Kaing who was selected to be part of the University of Melbourne’s Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars Program, class of 2023.

The Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars Program is an academic enrichment program designed to support high achieving Victorian Year 11 and Year 12.

Kassidy will take part in a program of events and activities focused on expanding her academic and personal horizons.
