What's Happening at CHPS....

Children, School & COVID

MASKS

Each day we have a (large) number of students requiring masks, either because they have forgotten them or because they have been lost or broken during the school day.

We are asking parents to please provide spare masks in their children's bags, so that they can take their own responsibility for COVID management.

As usual, a reminder that if your child has any of the following symptoms:

  • Fever
  • Chills and sweats
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Shortness of breath
  • Runny nose
  • Loss or change in sense of smell or taste

Please keep them home.

Parents, please help keep us all safe by ensuring that, if your child does not have an exemption, they leave home with a mask each morning.  A great idea is also to provide some spares in their schoolbag in case of breakages or loss.

Schools are not required to provide student masks and, while we are happy to do our bit to help, we are struggling to keep up with demand.

Middle School Narratives

Last term, a group of our Middle School writers participated in writing workshops that aimed to improve their storytelling ability. Over a number of weeks, Mrs Cassidy guided them through the writing process and they are very excited to share their finished pieces with you today.
