AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE FORCE – GAP YEAR APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN

The ADF Gap Year program is an excellent way for students to experience military life and gain a greater understanding of what’s involved. On completion they can continue serving in the Navy, Army or Air Force, or offer the skills and experience they have acquired to an alternate career path.

Places are strictly limited and will only be open for a limited time.

Details of the Gap Year roles are available at defencejobs.gov.au/gapyear. Employment commences early 2020. Applicants must have completed Year 12 and be aged between 18 and 24.

 

LA TROBE UNIVERSITY – ASPIRE

Aspire is La Trobe’s early admissions program which rewards students who volunteer, lead and make a positive impact on their community.

Aspire applications for 2020 open on 1 June 2019and will close on 31 August 2019.

Students who successfully apply to La Trobe through the Aspire Program receive an early conditional course offer, minimum ATAR requirements and access to study support throughout Year 12

 

 

LA TROBE UNIVERSITY - Experience uni for a day

La Trobe University is inviting Year 10, 11 and 12 students to come along to their Experience Clever workshops. This a great way for students to explore the university campuses and find out what it’s like to study at La Trobe.Students will have a chance to chat with lecturers, see the facilities and discover more about the study areas they’re interested in.Spots tend to fill up quickly though, so students are encouraged to register early.2019 Experience Clever Workshops
