North East Victorian Regional Concert (NEVR)

Over 70 students from Highvale Secondary College participated in the North East Victorian Regional Concert last Monday 29th May. Highvale SC hosted the NEVR Choir, conducted by Dr Lisa Young. Other ensembles such as the Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra, Concert Band and String Orchestra rehearsed at neighbouring schools. The 3 hour performance at the world class Hamer Hall was particularly exciting, as it was the first time that the concert could be held in 3 years.

Special thanks to Mr Chris Mitchell for all of his organisation, and to the Instrumental Music staff for their tutoring and supervision of students.
