Secondary Presentation Night Years 7-11

Wednesday 4 December, 6pm in The King's Chapel Auditorium

Presentation Night is a special annual event at The King’s College during Term 4. It provides our College community with an opportunity to celebrate the individual and collective achievements of the school year, as well as to recognise students who have attained exceptional results. We warmly invite parents and family members to join us for this significant occasion:

Date: Wednesday 4 December 2024

Time: 6:00pm – 7:15pm

Venue: The King’s Chapel Auditorium

Student Instructions

Attendance at Presentation Night is compulsory for all students, except for medical reasons. If your child is unable to attend, please notify the Principal via email at info@tkc.wa.edu.au. Please note that work commitments are not an acceptable reason for absence and the College requests families notify student workplaces of this compulsory event so that students are not rostered on to work.

To ensure the program begins on time:

  • Students must report to their Pastoral Care class by 5:30pm to have their attendance marked and be seated in the auditorium.
  • A shaded waiting area will be provided for parents until the auditorium opens for seating at 5:50pm.

 Students are expected to:

  • Wear their full Winter College Uniform, including a blazer. Blazers must be worn upon entering the auditorium and while on stage as prize-winners. If the weather is warm, students may remove their blazers while seated.
  • Adhere to the College’s usual standards regarding hair, make-up, uniform, and conduct. Please see the school diary for more details. Fake eyelashes are not permitted.
  • Award winners who do not comply with the uniform, hair and make-up standards may not be permitted to go on stage to receive their award.

 Regarding mobile phones:

  • Students should not bring mobile phones unless there is an exceptional need for contact or transport after the event.
  • If a mobile phone is brought, it must be turned off and handed to the student’s Pastoral Care teacher upon arrival and can be collected at the end of the event.

This is a wonderful occasion to reflect on and celebrate the achievements of our students and the broader College community. We look forward to sharing this evening with you.
