Disco and Lutheran Care

A huge thank you to all staff and parent volunteers that made last Friday night’s disco a great success. The work of the admin team in particular was essential to the success of the event. 

The food drive that took place on Friday in place of a gold coin donation for casual day or an entry fee for Disco was a huge success. All of these donations were delivered to Lutheran Care Blair Athol yesterday and the delivery was very timely. The emergency pantry was running low on stock and we were told that our food would probably be delivered to families in need by the end of the week. All of the food we delivered was non-perishable but there is a drastic need for meat currently. The freezer we were shown was down to its last few items. 

St Paul will continue to support Lutheran Care with donations. There will be a basket in the front office for donations to be made at any time and there continues to be a basket in the narthex where the Church also collects donations.

Thank you to everyone who donated and thank you to our Junior Voice Committee for this incredible idea and initiative.
