Year 5

Anna Kelly

On Friday 26th of May, ten students from Year 5 travelled to Burwood to represent St. Margaret Mary’s in The Sydney Catholic School’s Drama Eisteddfod. The children created a script, with the help of their extremely talented arts teacher, Mrs McInness and they have been practising their performance since the beginning of term one. This drama, involving a talent show, a nasty group of divas and a missing judge, was commended for having theatrical tension, confident and focussed actors and a great cliff-hanger ending! These students made our school very proud by receiving 2nd place in their category, being awarded a ‘Highly Commended’ certificate and an overall score of 96 out of 100. We have some budding performers and actors in this group for sure!
