Reconciliation Week

This week Year 6 joined their Kindergarten buddies to commemorate Reconciliation Week. Together the students learnt about National Sorry day and how we can continue to work and walk together into the future. The students created handprint designs reflecting Indigenous colours, patterns and symbols. We then placed these in our school garden.

Buddy Reading Program 

Year 6 students will spend 5 minutes a couple of times a week reading with the Kindergarten students. This is a great opportunity for the Kindergarten student to develop their decoding skills and also for the Year 6 students to model good reading skills.
