Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mums, Nannas and Mother figures for last Sunday. We hope you felt loved and celebrated for everything you do. We held our Mother’s Day stall last Friday in the auditorium. It was so wonderful to watch the children carefully select the perfect gifts for their mums. Thank you to for all the donations and handmade goodies, this not only makes it a lovely stall but a successful fundraiser. 

A huge Thank You to Kristen and Tammy, who have worked behind the scenes for many months to put the stall together. 

A big Thank You Kristen, Tammy, Raathika, Whitney, Shelly, Renee, Kirsten, Karola, and Jeff for being the shop keepers! The store just couldn’t run without the time and effort from our school community.

Netball news:

Round 2 & 3

U11’s

Our new team are starting to settle. The improvement already has been exceptional. Our defence worked really hard this week, starting off by the consistent Gemma and Lou. Kyabram were too strong. Awards: Zoe Kirby and Lou Schroeders. 

U9’s

Round 3

Defence did amazing again. Congratulations to Ella and Zoe for getting our goals today. If we converted a few more goals then the game would have been very close. There were some really good ball movement in the game. We will work on consistency on positioning in the court and playing out the full 4 quarters. Awards: Addi Zak and Ella Niglia

U9’s

It’s been a great two weeks of netball for U9 Doves. 

We have seen lots of improvement in defence and passing. 

We lost to Grahamvale Pearls in a hard game against a tall side. The team gave 100% effort all day especially in defence. Awards went to Lily Niglia and Meika Emanuelli. 

The following week we had a great win against Kyabram Astros. It was a fast paced game with lots of brilliant passing and great goals - very enjoyable to watch! Awards went to Mabel Alletsee and Gretta Kelly.

Our next community meeting will be on Tuesday June 6th at 7 pm. All welcome.
