Winter Appeal 2023
Friday, 16th June is the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Traditionally, this is known as our ‘Giving Mass’, when we ask for donations of non-perishable food items (e.g canned and dried foods) . This will be given to the St Vincent de Paul Society to support their Winter Appeal.
This year students in year 3-6 will be celebrating Mass with St Brendan’s 3-6 students at St Brendan’s church on Friday 16h June to celebrate the feast. Our F-2 students will all also celebrate this special day with a Liturgy in our school stadium.
The Year Five children and Mrs Liddell have been working together as a ‘Mini-Vinnies’ team to organise the collection of donated goods. They have done a wonderful job at promoting and organising our 2023 Winter Appeal.
We ask that donations are brought into the children’s classrooms and placed in the class donation basket.
Thank you for your support!
