Art Exhibition
Fiona Valentine is one of the mums in our school community. She is a Melbourne artist with a background in missions & education. Her detailed and expressive paintings feature a wide variety of subjects. She paints in oil, acrylic and watercolour in a realist style with a particular love of landscape.
She is a member of the Australian Guild of Realist Artists, the Victorian Artists’ Society and serves on the Knox Council Arts & Culture Advisory Committee. Earlier this year, Fiona made a TV episode about her art and teaching with Graeme Stevenson of 'Colour In Your Life' which aired in February on Channel 31. The episode and her paintings can be viewed via her website at www.fionavalentine.com
Fiona's artwork will be featured in an upcoming exhibition in our BHCS Arts Centre. The opening night for this is Friday, May 29 at 7.30pm.
For more information about the exhibition, please see the attachment below.
Help Needed - No experience required
The veggie garden is getting a "face-lift" and we need lots of helpers to:
- Remove clay soil and then introduce a compost/soil mix in 10 garden beds.
- Lay weed mat along the 10m fence line.
- Spread gravel around all 22 garden beds.
You can do this any time, any day. Are you available to help?
Please call Colleen on 9754 6435 or email cpeele@bhcs.vic.edu.au
Thank you!
