Whole School (1 of 2)

Let Us Help You
Tired of not getting your notices? Do you have a smart phone, tablet, laptop or desktop?
Let us give you the notices direct before your child has left the school.
Last April, the school introduced a School app called Tiqbiz to give parents easy access to information.
We highly recommend you download the app, as it gives you everything in one place. You can advise us of your child's illness, make a parent-teacher interview appt, order from the canteen all in one place.
We have included a flyer on how to do this. You are also more than welcome to contact the school if you're having problems on finding our School on the app.
Remember to download Whole School and your child's class to get all the information you need.
Working Bee Thank You
The School would like to say a BIG thank you to all the families who attended the Working Bee last weekend.
They planted, weeded, brush cut, blow/vac'd, mulched, raked and more!
The school is looking fantastic, all ready for Open Day this weekend!
Carpark Etiquette
We would like to remind all families of the etiquette when using the carpark. When using the one minute drop off/pick up zone, please move forward as far as possible. In the afternoons, the expectation is that cars entering the one minute drop off/pick up zone, do so from the back and not by jumping the queue ahead of other cars. No drivers should leave their vehicles unattended in the one minute zone during the hours of 3.00pm-3.45pm.
We kindly request that families refrain from parking in the centre lanes of the carpark.
Year 10 Work Experience
This is a reminder that all Year 10 Work Experience forms are NOW DUE.
If you have not yet returned your forms, please do so ASAP. Forms will be accepted until Monday, May 25 at 10am. Any forms handed in after this time cannot be processed.
GAT Information
VCE students undertaking a Year 12 subject will be required to sit the GAT. Information regarding this has already gone home.
VCE students sitting the GAT have now been handed their advice slips and a brochure regarding the GAT.
Attached is a copy of the brochure.
Horses
We would like to make families aware that under no circumstances are students permitted to pat or feed the horses located next to our property. Once on premises, students should remain within the school gates.
We understand that some students may be fascinated by them, but these horses do not belong to the School and we kindly request that students refrain from going near them.
World Language Perfect Competition
From May 18 to 28, the French students from Years 7 to 12 will be participating in the World Language Perfect Competition. Students will try to answer as many French vocabulary questions as they can in a timeframe and to compete for a variety of prizes from the Education Perfect company based in New Zealand.
Out goal is to have as many students as possible reach Bronze standard, which is 1000 questions answered in the 10 day period.
Topics that students can explore are listed on their Moodle French pages.
We will also be giving out prizes of movie passes, iTunes vouchers, and boxes of French chocolates in each year level as incentives for our student linguists.
Please encourage your children in this competition. The questions promote not only French vocabulary & grammar recall, but also build English spelling skills.
We will give you an update next week!
