Premiers' Reading Challenge

This year 275 of the students at Jells Park PS completed the PRC – that is 50%!

A big congratulations to you all.  Certificates to recognise this acheivement have been sent home. 

At assembly last week we celebrated the 17 students who read 100 books during the PRC.  I’m sure they will enjoy spending their book voucher prizes as they shop for their 101st book!

Liam K - Tennis

Liam K in Level 6 has been accepted into the draw for the December Showdown U12s National Championships for Tennis. This event is played at Melbourne Park from December 10. The event also has international competitors. This is a massive achievement.

Attached is a photo from last weekend where Liam won the Yarrawonga U12s singles and doubles Junior Tour tennis event, a prestigious event on the junior tennis circuit.

Liam has worked very hard for this success and opportunity and we congratulate him and wish him all the best for the Showdown in December.

An ARIA for Kaiit

Exciting news that former Jells Park PS student Kaiit W has won an ARIA for best Soul/R&B release. We are super proud of Kaiit for this huge achievement and the music she is producing.
