What's On during School Holidays!

Friday Night 3 on 3 Comp

PCYC Cowra have received interest in running a fast paced and fun, 3 on 3 comp on Friday nights from 5pm to 9pm.  We are looking at starting on Friday 21 September and running for 8 weeks until 16 November (excludes school holidays).

Grades on offer are:

U/12, U/14 and Opens

Pricing is u/18 $45 and 18+ $65.

3x3 Rules of the game

Main rules of are as follows:

- 1 basket on 1 half-court

- 2 teams of 3 players and up to 1 substitute per team

- 12-seconds shot-clock

1st team to reach 21 points or best after 10 minutes win.

Establishing the 3 on 3 comp is the first step towards re-establishing representative level Basketball in Cowra.  We are in discussions with Orange Basketball, Grenfell and Young to have trained coaches (parents), scorers and referees for u/14 and u/16 comps.  Any volunteers to help with organising will be welcome.
