Bathurst Jobs Expo

Bathurst Regional Council’s free Jobs Expo, in partnership with the Central West Careers Advisers Association and proudly sponsored by TAFE NSW, was on Tuesday 21 August at the Bathurst Memorial and Entertainment Centre.  With the event running from 9am – 3pm, a group of students form Cowra High attended.   It was a great opportunity for students to look at career options in the local and regional areas. Approximately 50 exhibitors providing information regarding job opportunities and assistance with career change or development were in attendance.

4 options for 2018 school leavers to think about.

The Department of Human Services has today published an article on their Media Hub around 4 options for 2018 school leavers to think about.  It covers the 4 broad options school leavers can take and links them with services the Department can provide them.
