School contributions and
online payments
Welcome back to 2017. At Cecil Hills High School, we pride ourselves on the fact that we provide an education for students that is second to none. Our results in external examinations reflect our commitment. We are able to continue this outstanding educational achievement because we are supported by our community in relation to school contributions.
We have recently mailed your family’s current School Contribution Statement for this year. These payments are used to purchase materials for students as well as to provide funding for whole school needs. Additionally, school issued textbooks are a shared resource that need to be provided to other students from year to year. Students are responsible for returning textbooks at the end of each school year or as requested by their classroom teacher. Please note that unreturned textbooks from 2016 have been added to invoices where relevant. The following payment methods are available for families:
- Cash, cheque, EFTPOS and credit card
- Parent Online Payments (POP)
- Telephone payments (by credit card)
- Please note that the office staff currently CANNOT accept telephone payment for excursions
Payments can also be made on a regular basis by instalment using one of the payment methods above. Payments made after 1.30pm will be processed the next business day.
- Office hours for telephone payments - 8.00am until 2.15pm.
- Office hours for personal payments - 8.00am until 1.30pm.
Some students over the age of 16 receive Centrelink payments to assist in ongoing post compulsory education. It is expected that these payments are used in the appropriate manner. If you would like to organise Centrepay deductions or feel you may have difficulty in meeting these payments, please contact Mrs Lyn Dunn so that appropriate arrangements can be made to assist you.
Parent Online payments
Online payments can be completed via the school’s website to make it easier for you to pay for school related payments. The payment page is accessed from the front page of the school's website www.cecilhillshigh.nsw.edu.au/.
This is a secure payment system hosted by Westpac to ensure that your credit/debit card details are captured in a secure manner, these details are not passed back to the school. The following expenses can be paid online:
- Voluntary School Contributions
- Subject Contributions
- Excursions
- Sport
- Creative and Practical Arts
- Sales to Students
- Other (for items not covered in the previous headings. Paying the total amount invoiced? Select OTHER.
By selecting the $ Make a payment the following details must be entered (see example below)
- student name, and
- class and reference number OR
- student name, and
- date of birth.
Each time you make a payment you must enter the student information as it is not held within the payment system. You are able to edit any details of the payment before it is processed. Receipts can be emailed and/or printed. Westpac forwards payments to the school where they are receipted against your child’s account. As a receipt has been issued from the payment page a further receipt will not be issued by the school.
